Love of Music
I have been involved with music and sports all my life. When I graduated high school and decided to attend Southern Utah University (SUU) I was admited into their music program. I took two years of music courses and then decided to go on an LDS missions and was called to ASIA!

Associates and China
After I got back from my mission to Taiwan, I worked for a year before going back to school (2012-2013). After taking time off from school, I was ready to get back into the swing of things so I went back to SUU and finished up all my requirements for my associates. Towards the end of 2013, I applied for an opportunity to study in China and be the American Studies Center Coordinator at Hunan Normal University. I was accepted and was honored to go spring of 2014. I received my Associates later that year.

Learning Outside the Classroom
After I got back from China and had recieved my Associates Degree from SUU, I decided to change universities and search out a different major. I went to Utah Valley University (UVU) in the fall of 2014 and after changing my degree to Integrated Studies with an emphasis in Peace and Justce and Humanities I had another study abroad opportunity. This time I went to Northern Ireland with UVU's Peace and Justice program.

Finally a Graduate
After my Northern Ireland trip, I moved back to southern Utah and started at Dixie State in a new program called Independent Studies. I was finally in the right place and after accumulating 180 credits over my college career, I was ready to graduate! Currently, I am working for the Global Engagement Center at SUU and looking forward to getting my Masters in Professional Communication.
